    GP1200R help please...

So, my ski was acting up last weekend and bogging/stalling. Its a 2001 with lots of protec parts, 120 hrs and i have a few questions

    1) i checked the compression and starting from the rear, the compression was 112 rear, 110 middle, 115 front. what should i have (with a protec head?)

    2) I figure its time to rebuild the carbs but, i cant figure out how to get them out. I removed the complete exhaust and removed the 2 big 10mm bolts in each carb but, they did not come loose. this is my problem at this point. is there some trick or am i missing something on getting these out?

Please help with the carb removal issue
