    Removing Stickers

I wanna remove those factory warning stickers from my ski, its an 08 X and i was wondering if i use that "goof off" adhesive remover if that would be ok?? just wondering if that could harm the finish or the coating underneath

Thats the first thing I did to mine after uncrating it I use carb cleaner... it leaves no residue and will not hurt the gel-coat

You don't need a heat gun. Just use your wife's hair blowdryer . Warm the decals up a little and peel them off one at a time. Its easy and no glue mess to clean up on ski. Lesson learned a few skiis ago.

Not calling anyone out here, I just need to state my experience!

Goof-Off is not good for plastic!!!!! It ruined the FINISH on my Glove box top! Tried to use it to take off residue from information sticker so I could mount my GPS and a BLURRY MESS I got!

3M Automotive Adhesive remover from WalMart in the Automotive section is good stuff and its SAFE for all SD surfaces in my experience. I will use the Heat Gun trick going forward though!

    Good Luck!
