break in recommendations on new rebuild

    Hi guys,
Probably been covered a thousand times before.....but.....
what speeds and how long for a break in on a new set of pistons,
Rave valves and carb tune up??
I blew my 951cc motor by using regular TCW3 oil. Ran Seadoo syn
for 2 years, no problems. To save $$$ went to the cheapo stuff.
Cooling hose came off, overheated, maybe 25sec. Then the oil
gummed up and froze Rave valve and bingo.....blown piston's.......

I'm running 4oz to 1 gallon as premix. I have been recommended to
do three full tanks at that ratio.

What speeds?? We babied it today, maybe 30 min of idle to 5000 rpm's.

I'm running high test now since we bored it out and used Wysecki high compression pistons.

    Best break-in oil out there.

Disable your oil pump and mix as instructed.

I've broke in 4 sets of pistons with it. Easier, and gets 5-10 more lbs cranking compression than if broken in without it.
