    Oh I agree. It only takes the RIGHT combo of chemicals, paints, and plastics, and you got a hazy goofy mess on your hands.

    Those side panels are pretty spendy for a couple of pieces of plastic too!

    I was using the wheel PW suggested, and ended up "pinstriping" the paint from the front to the back off the side of my Polaris... $400 mistake. Not to mention, it still leaves a gooey mess to clean up with other chemicals.

    Yeah, forgot to mention don't use the wheel like a sander, once you get to the glue, you need to use a milder solvent like mineral spirits to get the glue off. I used Goof Off on the hood and it turned the windscreen into a pyschodelic art piece. Plastic reacts volatile towards solvents.
