Thread: The Flu

I tell you what. I've had colds, and flu and all kinds of ailments, but THIS years flu caught me by surprise.
I felt a little nagging cough at work on Tues. By Thursday morning, I couldn't get out of bed. It stayed out of my chest, but went up into my sinuses, where a 10 alarm headache now resides. On top of that, you get body aches like crazy. The first couple of nights, it was like I had arthritis in my hips, knees, and ankles. It sucks. About once every hour, all of a sudden I feel like the temperature in the house shoots through the roof. 20 minutes later, it feels like it's 20 degrees in here. Quite frankly this is just damn miserable, and I needed to vent a little.
May you all avoid this bastard of a flu. I'd actually recommend a flu shot on this one...

I feel for ya, I really do. You probably don't remember, but when we talked about a month ago, I had the same thing. Then the wife got it. Same thing you are describing. Took about 3 weeks to TOTALLY get rid of it and get back to normal. Rest up and I hope it doesn't last as long for you as it did for us.
