    RxpX Handling Mods

The RxpX has a great engine and power....the problems is to take power on water, the whole power.
I have read a lot of posts about the matter but now WE must to sum up because is about one year that we stay in contact with rxpX so we have the clear ideas according to me.

Which are the best mods to improve the handlinh\hook up for an RxpX?
Which has the best relation cost benefits?
Why we don't create in the shop online not a stage1 or 2 or 3 BUT an Handling Package for RxpX(or then RxtX?)?

    ...ideas...

    1) Intake grate is a goog mod (everybody says that is important).Which one?
Riva, R&D, stock modified or WORX or others modified?

    2) What's about to fill holes? is it usefull?

    2) Sponson??(nobody talks about this, according to me very important)
(i'm trying to create with some talians pilots a kind of sponson very helpfull)

    3) OPAS block off?(a lot of people says that the stock are better in waves) or a competion opas kit??

    4) Skegs for the rideplate(everybody talks about them at their lunch and now??)

    5) Pump extension(someone says is important, others say is too much expensive for the benefits...)

    6) the reduction nozzle(i don't now nothing)

First let me comment I don't don't own a X model.. I've had the most luck with Riva products on my RXP
    2) What's about to fill holes? is it usefull? Small top speed gain but a gain never the less for a very easy mod

    2) Sponson??(nobody talks about this, according to me very important)
(i'm trying to create with some talians pilots a kind of sponson very helpfull) CC people say aftermarket sponsons slow them down but my experience is at high speeds OEM sponsons feel a little loose. I personally run Danny's sponsons because of the deal he gave me and that the overall performance is the same as Riva's

    3) OPAS block off?(a lot of people says that the stock are better in waves) or a competion opas kit?? A must over 75, totally cures the bounce

    4) Skegs for the rideplate(everybody talks about them at their lunch and now??) I personally didn't care for them, they made my ski very dangerous..In my opinion!! I went with skegs mounted directly to my Block-offs..Best ever, tracks truely like it's on rails.

    5) Pump extension(someone says is important, others say is too much expensive for the benefits...) It's a give and take unfortunetly.. I live close to the local test grounds and I hear you might get better rough water hook up but you loose some of your turning ability.. (BIG CAVIOT- It may fix the overstuffing with included pressure relief valve)If your all about top speed #'s it may be for you. Where turning more towards drag racing here.

    6) the reduction nozzle(i don't now nothing) Reduction nozzle will pick up your top speed but once again it's a give and take, you'll loose top speed.

    Hope I helped

I have an RXP-X with an R&D grate much better hook up,and a little pick up in speed. I took the OPAS off after my ride from the dealer to my house, i personally like the way the ski feels without the OPAS. I have my holes filled (or the few that are left some fell out) i saw a little pick up in the speed. that's all i have done for the handleing of the ski.

I just added an R&D extended steering nozzle. Not a full auto-drop system, just the nozzle. It took out any play in the steering and makes the steering a little heavier. Plus it carves much better. And the best part, no speed loss whatsoever and it fits perfectly under the bucket!!!!
