Camera Basics...and many surprises in the digital world.
A highly opinionated review of the two main DISTINCT digital camera classes. It's not a tough read, but rather wordy.
Tons of good stuff all over his website. He's a Nikon fan, so that's how I found it.
Actually he's a medium (sports) or large format(detail) film fan. Great reading and pictures burried there too. Whatever you do, be warned before you go reading this section. It will turn your idea of what is "modern" and what is goofy...upside down. Just read the dates, and consider the information.
One of my favorite items... why your camera doesn't matter. The same could easily be said for the ski's we ride.

Took this shot today, while sitting on my other GPR, in a lake, at about 40ft. The rider is Bryan Gerard, one of our racers.

Nikon D70, with a 70-300mm zoom. I'm finding I can get better shots using single shot mode versus rapid fire...
Auto exposure seems to be the best way while bouncing around on a ski taking the picture.
Don't hate me Mike. That's probably $1500 worth of consumer camera. It's really not worth it, unless you love photography.
