That's awesome and right in line with what some customers have been telling me. If you gained 300 RPM's you probably have a solid 2 mph gain.

Did you do the intake manifold upgrade too?

I saw 50 to maybe 100 rpm with relocating the X ic removing filter in manifold and adding 158 stat. I am at 5,000 + rad so my findings are usually less then others sea level.
Then I found a boost leak after tearing it appart so maybe there is more.

possible shoter straighter track on the air delivery to intercooler and out to throttle body as well as solid plumbing instead of rubber hose....I wouldnt doubt that it makes the system more efficient which would maybe give you more RPMS but other than that Who knows without solid instrument testing and theories aside....

He probably had a slight boost leak problem that he solved when he relocated. Most guys usually see 100+ RPM gain.
