    Ride Plate Interchangeability Question

I'm hoping you experts can help me out again....

I'm still trying to find an extended ride plate for my 95 SLT 750.

Can anyone tell me if a 96 SLTX (1050cc) ride plate will fit my 95 SLT (750cc)?

    Thanks!!!!

Contact Beer Dart and find out what plate he's got on the SLT 785.

I am using a LCP plate.. You can use a SLTX plate but you may have to re drill the mounting holes.

    Thanks Beerdart!

I assume LCP stands for Lake City Products? I think someone mentioned them before. I did a Google search, but can't find anything on them. Are they still in business? Do you know where I could find one of their plates?

I see OP makes them, but they are like $180 new....that's a little more than I wanted to spend.

I also see R&D make them, but I couldn't find a model for the SLT...just the SL, and I don't believe the SL plate will fit the SLT hull.

Basically, I'm just trying to find an extended plate to go with my extended pump for a small winter project.

    Anybody have any other suggestions?

Lake City Polaris and they are out of the business.

I see OP makes them, but they are like $180 new....that's a little more than I wanted to spend. The OP will not fit the early SLT's without redrilling the holes.

Add an extension to your stock plate.. The problem is that the early SLT hulls have different mounting holes that the later three seat hulls.

the polaris sells the batwing plates they are what came on stock to the virage hulls , the have a funny dip and channels on it for better tracking and to get the nose up a tiny little bit ,

now either buy the batwing plate ( virage ) if you buy one youll know why they call it that , they run for 135 ish last time i checked , or buy a used op of ebay or here ,

with the season comeing to a end it might be best just to search ebay or here till it ends ,

hell might even give em a call i bet he would work with ya on the price if ya buy some f/a's as well but can you imagine how much it cost to make a 4 lb casting ?
