Water in the Hull after ride??? orange stain on ground after flush???
I know it has been asked and touched on before, but in a search that includes water and hull I had so many returned results I could not find one that adrressed what I needed in a time frame that seemed feasible. Perhaps I am searching wrong, but if someone could help me out that would be nice.
I have an 05 Yam FX HO (just bought it used on Friday!)
Did the test ride, checked the RPMS, did a visual of everything; it all looked good and it ran well.
From having it out on Friday, there is left over water in the bottom 1/4 to 1/2 inch of the hull. it is underneath the line of the bilge pump. I was just wondering if this is normal?
Should I leave it in there or try to suction it out?
Also, Saturday, I flushed the ski. The flush seem to go fine, after the water had dried from the flush, there was an orange coloring on the asphalt and concrete where the water had drained. Any idea what that was or if it is normal?
Thanks for the help.

Best get all the water out of the hull. These things tend to seal well and the moisture from the water left can corrode stuff. The orange stain sounds suspicious almost sounds like rust.
