OK to turn ski upside down in order to fix chips and scrapes?
Hello. I'm new to the forums. I've been reading a ton of posts on here since Wednesday. I just bought a 1995 GTX on Thursday. This is my first PWC. It runs like it's brand new and handles excellent. I went out riding all day yesterday and had an absolute blast! I want to fix her up a little bit. All it really needs is a new seat cover and some chips and scrapes on the bottom fixed. I am a boat owner, so I am familiar with gel coat repair.
Would it hurt anything to flip my SeaDoo over 'on it's back' for a few days in order to fix some chips and scrapes on it's under side? Should all the fluids be drained first or will it be OK to leave them?
P.S. Once I get used to this one. I plan on giving it to my wife and getting me a newer / faster one.
Here is a pic:

I would not flip it with the engine in it, that is to much weight on the three little mounts holding the motor. You need a stand to put it on or a sling to lift it.
I have heard horror stories through the years of engines falling out due to mounts breaking.

Thanks for the advice. I will just crawl under the trailer and make the repairs.
