    Domestic 1200 [email protected] ?

Did I see and remember that a domestic 1200 is timed to 24degrees @3000 rpms?
    Just thought I'd check.

I'm gonna time the engine on the bench, but want to mark the flywheel with a marker for easy checking with a light.

    I thought it was
    23 degrees at 3000RPM or .137 (3.47mm)
    10 degrees at 5-6250RPM or .026 (.63mm)
    15 degrees at 6500RPM or .057 (1.49mm)

I mark all the locatons if they aren't already stamped into the flywhel.

    23..........that's it!

I think I only have one stamp on the flywheel ('99 slx 1050 flywheel), and it appears to be a TDC mark cause it is just left of the timing marks when looking at it from the front.

Markings on this thing suck! A little bit of corrosion distorts most of the markings ALOT! Basically need light from a paint booth and the proper angle to see anything I wish the timing marks had been etched into the wheel instead of the crappy paint or whatever it is.
