    Different cams on 15F from 2006-2008 ?

Is it true that it`s different cams on the 2008 models due to some emissions-issues ?
Someone said that the 2008 model is slower then the older ones, is that true?

"tree hugging Standard" new word for me...

    Has anyone compared a 2006 against 2007-08 ?
    acceleration and top speed ?
Is it 0,5 mph or 3 mph ?

I have an 08 and I raced a kid on an 05 or 06. I holeshotted him and beat him by 5 boat lengths in 1/8 mile. I was prob .5 - 1 mph faster on top end.

another factor is rider weight and fuel level.

Sammy the only way you will be able to tell the 06 from the 07,08 cams is to take them to a cam manufactoring company and have them PROFILE each one and find out which cam has the most agressive profile on it . This takes a special machine to find out the opening and closing rates of the lobes and what centerline they are cut on. This can't be done with a micrometer or anything else except a cam profiling machine. There is one company in Memphis Tn by the name Comp Cams you can call 1800-cam help and ask them if they will profile the cams for you, but don't be surprised if its expensive. good luck
