bilge pump question
OK guys, I have searched the forum and now need your imput.
I am installing a bilige in both skis and need some good ideas to best place to put the out let hole on my RXP and RXT-X.
I dont have a problem drilling a new hole in hull, just want to be dang sure its the right place before making the cut.
Aprreciate your help.

never heard of a *right* place
Mine is near the seat by the grab handle on the left side

Very good idea
I had install mine in the rear, left and right side. There is an nice flat mounting point
Its not the deepest point, but hight enough for fail save!!

I saw a setup the other day where someone put a one way valve on the bilge pump exit, and T-'d it right into the intercooler 3rd/top bleeder/water exit. This was on a X-ski of course.

With an in-line check valve the outlet can be located just above the pump where it's out of site

thanks for all the comments, keep em coming.
So my options at the moment are
1) somewhere thru hull above water line
2) T into a hose exiting the transom
3) exit in pump area with new hole with a check valve.
I like the idea to not cut new hole and exit out existing hose but then have to run a T that would have to be opened once water ingestion was realized. Not sure if that is a good idea?
Also does the hole not need to be high enough on hull that water would not go back down hose to pump when bilige is off if not running a check valve?
anyone with pics of different exit loctions would be good.

Correct... you only need a check valve if water can back flow through the outlet
