    Red face Carb Jetting Questions.

I have read that you can pull the stock airbox off and remove most of the filter elements for a performance gain. I also read that you have to rejet your carbs after doing this.
I have a 96xp 787, I would like to retain the stock choke on the carbs but get a little performance increase. If I really do need to rejet what should I go with.

I am new to 2strokes and still reading as much as I can about them.
