    so quiet

South Florida has been so quiet these past 2 weeks and I thought it was because of the holiday and the killer huricanes. I think it was a moment of silence for the death of my motor in the ski. But I have 5 months left on the sgt warranty so it will be alive in a few weeks.

Till then I am gonna abuse the boat as if it was a ski...

I bow my head and pray for a quick recovery.

We need to launch somewhere south of Biscayne Bay and hit the Columbus Day Regatta on Saturday. Maybe our Keys brothers can chime in -- that would be a hell of a ride with nice visuals.

    Regatta

I know how to get there from Miami, but we can't go through Biscayne Bay. I know where all the action is. If we could get our Keys members with local knowledge we can approach from the south. We'll get there, the scenery is pretty nice.

If it's anywhere in Biscayne National Park we are off limits. As far as I know, north of Angelfish Creek Is BNP. Angelfish Creek is the 'creek' we rode in to the north when we went around Key Largo and back through Adams cut. I'm thinking it's a no-go from the south as well. Where exactly is the regatta at?

Let me look at the chart for the exact location in relation to BNP and I will get back to you. I have been told that in the last few years that the police are on PWC's, so why can't we?
