The R12x is a 2 seater, You need the F12X or F15X 3 seater to pull a tube in most states. So that disqualifies the R12x for you.

I would go for the Kawi 250 it pulls a tube better then the Honda, its got a ton of bottom end but if you get a Honda 3 seater you can do a few things to give it more bottom end like a prop 17/29

It will also drink fuel at an incredible rate, much more than the Honda

    MUCH-O more...
Def. want the 3 seater if riding in chop! Go Honda, you'll be a happy camper.

I like just enough performance to "put a smile on my face". Being towed in or paddling, "makes me frown".
That is why I don't have a 300 Drag on my Allison boat.

I see Seedoos being towed everytime we are out...

I would recommend a Sea Doo RXT after owning all of the variety of machines i have owned a previously owned. Fuel economy is alright....Put a X charger on for about 800 bucks and you have a awesome ski with improved fuel economy. Me and a few friends were tubbing behind it a couple weeks ago and let me tell you it will really pull tubes. It was pulling 2 200 pound guys on tubes with 2 people on the ski like nothing. And it will run 70mph with that supercharger and a prop upgrade all day long! My honda will run 70 but i have way more money in my honda then i do my RXT. Just know one expects my honda to run over 70 which makes it allot of fun!

Does the poor fuel consumption and the Oil contamination issues not matter?
