    2009 RXP-X Upgrades

So can someone please let me in on any changes... I mean, their has to be something... Any technical upgrades to make it more reliable??

I just don't see why it would stay exactly the same. This is a big deal for me cause either I buy one now for a good price or wait until next Spring for the 2009.

They are identical. What reliability issues are you talking about?

Who would win (top end speed) in a race between a stage I rxp-x and a stage I rxp?

    I'm looking for top speed.

    Thanks

probalbly would be close but i think you will get more top end out of the rxp with same mods on both skis.

Just take a look what most of us have on our skis for mods to run arround 80 mph, and then look at what it takes to get a P-X to 80 or beyond. Minimum ecu and more needed on X to run close to 80.

    Just my .02

My guess is that they didn't sell as many 08's as they thought they would and the 09's are carry overs, just listed as an 09 model.

Stage 1 to Stage 1, the X would win. But the std RXP is cheaper and will go faster than the X with the same amount of mod $$ + purchase price factored in. If you want top speed for the least amount of money, get a std RXP as cheap as you can, 07 or 08, and throw some mods on it. A stage 2+ will get you to 77+ with a little tweaking and cost less than getting an X to 77 mph.
