    Speedster 200 430hp to 510hp conversion?

    Hi,

    I gues not only me has been wondering what is necessary to convert 215 engines to 255?
    has anyone done this?
    what parts are better to use OEM or aftermarket?

    planing on doing this over winter and posting process here.

    The conversion is simple, for each engine you just need:

    X-supercharger

    An RRFPR:

    And an intercooler; this is the actual one that's one the OEM 255hp machine:
    http://www.4-tecperformance.com/inde...roducts_id=300 ...or nearly as good would be a kit you can buy around here for around $450.

    So that's a simple conversion to 255hp for $1540, or $2400, depending on which way you go with the IC.

    Yep, good advice from Scott there. I'd say go with the XS intercooler and save the money.

    I installed those parts on a friends S150 and he is running almost 63 on GPS, but he is on the limiter at just over 3/4 throttle.

    This weekend we're putting on the RIVA adjustable nozzle, 81mm ring to bring down the revs and get off the limiter. Also going to add an R&D X intake grate. Shooting for 65 mph

    Oh yeah, you will also need a solas 15/20R prop with this combo.

    I'll be interested to see which prop BRP puts on the S150 255hp, cause the OEM 10/21's not going to work.

    Yeah, I imagine the prop they use will have killer bottom end since some guy posted on here that a dealer GPS'ed it at only 60 mph.
