Line at Oil tank with water
Good Morning all,
I have a 97 SeaDoo GTS with the 717 or 720 motor singe carb,
Sorting out some running issues on it,,
Last night I pulled the fuel tank to clean it,, No problems,
But what is the 1/2" or 5/8" line that comes up from the exhaust manifold side of the engine and terminates on top of the oil tank with a vent type cap?
and should it have water in it?
I do not have the PDF manual here at work,

Return line from the rotary valve shaft cavity. There should be two lines from the oil tank to the carb side of the engine. The small one is the feed to the oil pump and the larger line is the feed to the rotary valve shaft cavity. No it should not have water in it.

2 stroke oil,,
should have pulled the line before I posted,, I guess I did not realize that it just makes a closed loop from the bottom to the top of the tank.
And it is a see through type line and it seemed like water.. it is 100% 2 stroke oil.
