    96 XP - 951 conversion

    I'm looking for a winter project and was considering doing this.

    Aside from pipe fitment issues, how much work needs to be done as far as motor mounts, driveshaft connection, etc?

    Also, which model year 951 would be the best option?

    You are close to the guys that have done many swaps. Do you know Mongoose and Tweeker?

    PS- Selling your RXPX because it threw you too?

    Yeah I have sent Tweeker a PM.

    I came close to being thrown of the P-X back when I cut my grate, but I went back to the stock grate. I haven't had any issues with the ski, I love it. I've just decided to get a 96 XP and a stand-up, take it old school.

    Just thinking out loud and making sure the wife isn't looking over my shoulder.
    Do you still have the gpr with the blown crank? I may have a lot of what you need for the conversion if your interested..

    What do you know about using a 155mm pump on a X-4?

    D Pump works better. I have one for the X-4 bolt pattern I might sell if interested.

    Absolutely nothing...
    I was contimplating a trade for my wife's running carbed RX for a GPR with a blown motor.. Which would cover a lot of the conversion parts...
