    Power Valve Jism

Is it normal or not to have a lot less power valve jism built up under the cover on the middle cylinder than the end cylinders? I'm installing the power valve clips on my XLT and there is a lot less stuff in #2.

Judging by your descriptive words, it's milky in nature. If so, you might have some water leaking issues.

The first picture is of the middle cyl PV. There is not as much buildup and it looks dryer. The second picture is of the rear PV. There is more YamaLube buildup and it is a little more oily. The front cyl is not pictured but is similar to the rear. Let me know if this doesn't look normal to you.
    Thanks
    Mick

Your middle cyl does look too clean. I'd check the oil line or switch over to pre-mix for added security. You might want to pull the head and take a look at the middle cyl to make sure there's no scoring. Otherwise, the oily residue is normal on the other cyl.

Thanks for the info. I did notice when I took the couplers off, that vavle did not move quite as freely as the other two.

That middle cylinder could be running lean, I would check it out.

I've not messed with carbs or the oil lube pump on these skis yet. What would I be looking for?
