trim tab hint on GP
I installed Riva's trim tabs in the GP last night...(Man it gives ya the willie's drilling thru a perfectly sound pure white hull... ) Anyways was pulling all the shiot out of the way to get there.. if you take out the exhaust outlet you can then lift the foam on the right side with out removing the foam or the battery box.. go thru the open exhaust port and wedge the foam up...left side was easy.. didnt destroy any foam at all...
I fixed the tabs with structural epoxie and the riva ss backing plates.. that epoxie was a 60 minute set and squeezed out a nice fillet all the way around (i don't plan on ever removing them)

no, sorry no pictures... left side was two screw clamps ,one rubber band strap and then the water box, then fold and remove the foam on that side ... easy.. right side was the one clamp at the outlet hose and the four bolts at the outlet housing , reach in the removed outlet hole and wedge up the foam with your hand and stuff in some rags... then drill and glue...

Nope... mine were like the last new set Riva had along with the top loader 760 grate .. there was a thread running early this week that one of the members posted ,stating a friend of his produced a quanty for sale (oceansidebill posted on it also).. I'm thinking they were listed at 75.00... look here in old school, just this past week or so...
