    This year's project!

Well I haven't even finished last year's project ski and I am already planning on my next ski. My next ski wil be based on the race hull shown below. My plan is to get the hull next month and start the construction sometime in late spring.

Look familiar - I want to thank Scott for selling this hull to me.

    My 2005 project

Latest news - Coop is flyin at 78.8. My ski is in the garage waiting for spring to arrive so I can try my (yet again) richer carb jetting.

Does "race hull" mean it's lighter in some way?

I believe Coop is running 79+ with a pre-'05 pump and no "package"! Wait, that sounds bad.

yes a race hull is lighter - Yamaha leaves out some material and they use less glue to hold things together

    phillip, call my cell. brian

I used my own special handling package. My package cost me $5.00 for parts, other than the cost of getting my plate modded by carl. The price of testing.......priceless!!!!!

Yes, Coop did 78.8 with basically the same set-up as I describe in my Riva post. Where I am using a Solas Concord 15/22 he is using a Concord 14/24. His motor is runnng stronger because his carbs are much closer to being dialed in. I just can't get my head around how much fuel my motor seems to want. Everytime I jet up I gain another 150 rpm!
