    End of OPEC?

    Hell yeah! The Saudi`s know that if alternative fuel becomes reality then mainstream,,,,,all that oil in the ground will in fact be WORTHLESS!

    Not worthless, just worth less. Petroleum is still the preeminent source of lubricants

    Sounds to me like if we consider the actions of the Saudis and Brazil's newly confirmed oil supply, the big mouth bastard in Venezuela is screwed... but I still think it's important to increase domestic production. As support in America for domestic drilling grows, I think we will continue to see the fat cats of the oil cartel start to get nasty with each other...

    HE is mostly screwed anyway. After all his wonderful reserves are a heavy sour crude. Hard to refine(this means the US mostly has the tech to do it).

    Its not in any of the lubicants that I use for all my gas run items ( truck, skis, mowers etc )
    Alternitive lubicants are here just have to find what actually works

    Synthetic oils like Mobil 1 and Castrol Syntech are derived from Natural gas, that is petroleum
