I just put one of these in the other day for a friend. I installed the girdle on the ski and cut a bolt that fit and grinded the end to a point to use as a stud and to mark where to drill the holes. Then pulled the studs out and drilled the holes and put it on

does the girdle fit a bit snug in there ?? mine seems like i have to put a bit of pressure on it so that the screws that hold it together line up.

I sold my girdle and I was trying to find the pointed screws I had (for the new owner to tap his grate) since i want need them anymore.
I came across the perfect punch for anyone that needs to tap a grate.
You can use the 2 set screws that come on OEM steering that locks the mode button bracket and throtle bracket to bars.
Alot of us have ditched the oem steering so you should have two screws and if you dont just take them out of your steering, punch your grate, and put them back.
In pics you can see the set screw I am speaking of with my redneck screws.
