How to size a helmet?
I want a helmet, but not sure what size to get.
Anyone know how to size these things?

Try these Jerry
To deturmine your helmet size simply measure the circumference of your head above your ears and around your forhead as illustrated.

The best way is to go down to your dealer and try them on.Different brands may have the same size but fit different.

In some motorcycle circles, you will hear folks talk about having an "Arai head, or a Shoei Head." That is because even though the sizing of the helmet is identical in most measurements, they DEFINATELY fit differently.
Personally, I have a "Shoei" head. The Arai squeezes my temples, and rocks back and forth on top. My shoei helmet goes on a little tight, but once in position, I don't even notice it anymore. It seems to ring true on my streetbike helmets as well.
Once you get a GOOD-FITTING helmet, it doesn't matter what names on it.
