    Just GPS'ed it

    Hi guys

Finally GPS'ed my P-X and it ran 74.9-75 and the rpm 8160-8180 ..The weather temp is F102..The temp on ski gauge was F92.

    My mods is :-

    Riva stg1
    Riva upgrade intake manifold
    Riva intercooler relocations kit
Prop <-- my mechanic install it and didn't told me what is it but my previous pro was 15/22 4 blades.

After adding this prop i feel stronger holeshot , midrange and top-end tha the 15/22 ( RPM was 8000-8020 ) but im littel concern my current max RPM which is now 8160-8180.

    What do u think guys?

You want your RPMs to be at 8000 w/ an X ski. Need to add some pitch to the prop or add a smaller ring in the reduction nozzle

nice speed per your mods, you need to drop your rpm down 100 rpm. Best rpm on the X IMO is 8,040 - 8,060.
I would do it via nozzle ring or a little more pitch in prop on trailering edge.
You got more speed if you do.

Currently i used stock nozzle which is 86..right?

I will try the 83mm to drop the RPM and get more top-speed? will i loose power on holeshot after that ?

Stock is 87mm, and the 83mm will bring your RPM down and give you more speed, but you will sacrifice some holeshot. How much, I don't know. I guess you'll see for yourself.

Running those speeds on the X I hope you drilled the 2 holes thru the grate and pump shoe to help prevent the pump overstuff?

    u r talking about this?

Do u think i will gain littel performance after that also?

Yes, that's what I'm talking about. And forget performance, it's a safety issue. Being tossed unexpectedly at 75mph is not something you want to have happen. We've already had some forum members end up in the hospital with injuries from being tossed. Get it done, and know that you can ride safely.

Just add Riva thru hull exhaust, Riva 4" intake and 3 blades 15/19 prop w/83mm

Got much much stronger holeshot and the top speed now [email protected]

I think that fair speed,,isn't it?

    I remember when i got Riva stg1 w/ 4 blades 15-22 i saw 72's

Next...WORX intake grate, 137mmx3mm spacer SC wheel , Rotax 8800, Riva valvetrain upgrade, lightweight valves, 60lbs injecotrs and others.

I'm still thinking to keep the 3 blades 15/19 prop...What do u think gents?

Talk to jawz. I think he said to stay away from 3 blades with the RXP-X.
