GP Front end damage from Dock

Waverunner hit dock at low speed. Front end paint de-laminated. Can i just sand down the front lightly and repaint the hull?

I would say it would be fine if you sand it down and repaint it as it only looks like a light scuff on the paintwork. You might need some fillers to give it a smooth finish

    Gpr bumper boats

I had a lady last summer told me yamaha designed the hull poorly because her paint cracked and chipped when she hit her dock. She believed she should be able to bump into things to slow her down. She asked how could we fix the hull to prevent it from chipping? I told her "stoop hitting things! There not bumper boats"

yea... how can you expect it to hold up to hitting something? maybe the rub rail. thats why they make bumpers

I heard all cars are made poorly to because when ever you hit something they seem to have damage also . I never fixed that front end damage, but that was caused while i was coming up to a dock and a boat in a no wake zone went flying by and the waves pushed me into the dock. When i true the hull and do some other work I'll get around to fixing it.

I was more concerned about my ski at that point. But I do wish I had a supply of napalm for that guy.

Time to go on a night walk around the lake and pull some drain plugs!
