08GPR I am calling you out

Steve your smack talking key board racing ways have finally gone to far, its time to put up or shutup.

how dare you call my ski a rental

Well lets see once and for all what my rental ski (2002 gpr) goes like against your 2008 model GPR with all the goodies on it, the last of which gets fitted this week, that being vf3 reeds, milled head and 3degree keyway. You will have no excuses after this. I sure hope that pretty decal kit of your will yeild an extra 5mph...

I propose a race from grays point to gibeons beach and back. Starting point is the end of the 8 knott zone at grays point and we will have to have someone at giboens beach near a moring that will have to be gone around and back again. thats a decent lenght to run and is a combination of smooth and semi rough water so its the best of both worlds.

if either of us speed in the 8 knott zone in between those two points which is where adam had his unfortunate accident on the weekend then that person is automatically DQ'd and that will be judged by being on a plane at the time.

As far as what the winner gets i think this will be quite fitting.

The winner gets to pick out a dress for the loser to wear on the next group ride (no piking out) and the loser must wear it ( price limit of $150 max on the dress and the loser must pay for it).

So are you up for it or are you yellow?

I am sure the crew will help out with the marshalling......

Allright Stevie boy now whos stretching the truth....... it was I who challenged you remember???? Can't wait my friend but I say a#$ to that run which if on a good day might be fairly flat and as far as the 8 knot zone...... how bout heading out towards boat harbour AFTER the zone we start, out to the yellow bouy off boat harbour (where we will have someone, and back! No 8 knot zones smooth, chop and ROUGH now that will be a race and a real, final loser shuts up test. And by all means we do that and I'll wear whatever you want me to but I think it may be you who is going shopping at Supre

the bay between maianbar and gibeons is plenty rough and so is the big bay between grays and port hacking...

heck we can even do it saturday arvo as it will be 28c and heaps of boats out which will make it even rougher again....

and yes you did challenge me, very quietly, why didnt you post it up....?

UPDATE just got off the phone with Steve, he is not keen to make the race something worthy of winning, hence my suggestion prob 15k's 10miles of smooth and rough ocean, doesn't think it would be fair to him to head out to the beach??? Cmon Steve compared to what you suggested this would be a true test and then you can wear the mauve dress I have picked out for you on the smooth water next time

Mate you know my skis set up for rough.... compromise. If the day we do it is smooth, light chop we do the Boat Harbour run (my version) If it is hell big like we have all seen it we do yours. Deal? Hell I need a little of the rough stuff
