    2stroke=bad??

    Sorry in advance for noon question but it seems like the gpr is the only two stroke run-about i have seen for 06 line up's. I know this is the last year for the 2-stroke but would it be better to just get a 4 stroke? Is there a reason besides the environment for every one going to 4 strokes?

    I believe you answered your own question. The only 2-stroke performance boat left is the GPR. All manufacturers are going to the 4-strokes because of the enviroment concerns so consumers are being forced to purchase them. Buy a GPR before there no longer produced.
    Much cheaper to mod a 2-stroke than the 4-stroke.

    Just my 2cents.

    Well my 4 stroke beats SpeedJunky's 2 stroke, he can tell ya that. But that's the big thing about 4 strokes, better for the environment. You'll notice snowmobiles are moving toward the same direction.

    Seriously though, I've seen your questions and stuff and I would recommend a GPR since your parents think the RXP is too much of a ski. Just don't tell them the true stats on the GPR. I love Yamaha. If I would've known SpeedJunky would have been selling his GP1200R sooner I would have bought it instead of my RXP in a heartbeat.

    I will say your boat is fast probably a mile 1mph faster in the flat. Chop is a diffrent story. A boat that runs on 87 octane and has only 170Hp does really good against a 215Hp supercharged boat. I am glad the doo is fast it gives us GPR guys some fun races.
    You better be ready this summer.

    What is the equation for comparing 4 stroke cc to 2 stoke cc?

    Doesn't a 1500cc 4stroke = a 1200cc 2stroke or something?
