    Leo's HoleSHot kit for XLT's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Ok here we go.

Just got off the phone with Leo.

He is going to fabricate some kits for the XLT skis.

***This will be a one time deal, so if you got an XLT and want better performance off the line, contact Leo right away.*********

The kits will be a little more expensive than the GPR.

He wants all kits prepaid. (I just sent him money via paypal for 2)

    Give him a call!!!!!!!!!

How would this help out an XLT? They sit way too high out of the water... there was a post discussing this issue a while ago (I just searched and found it) and it was stated by Jim and others that it wouldn't help a XLT... please explain how this would benefit a XLT and I might get one for mine as well!

I don't mean to knock the holeshot kit for the XLT but in my humble opinion I would think for the money other mods would have better results. The XLT hull does sit way higher then the gpr and does not sink down on take off enough to dig the rail into the water. I tried several times to get it to bite and could not do it. The XLT rail sits about 4-5 inches out of the water and the GPR is almost touching the water.

Just by looking at pictures of the GPR it appears that the bottom of the hull stops further forward of the back rail than where the XLT hull goes nearly straight up in the back, see pic below.

I would be happy to try out a prototype though! I will try to get a video next weekend of the back on take off with my son driving.

I would agree the XLT sits so much higher. I have never ridden one, but I was out with Steve a week or two ago and his was sitting WAY higher than my GPR.

Hello Chip at first we both thought it would not work, But looking at video we can see on a hard launch the ass would hit the water alittle, And in rough water after every wake the ski would splash water under the back lip causing drag. I also told Leo i want one for my wifes ski i think i will be worth it.
