    Can any of you gents help me out

    I'm looking for ultra thin washers to tune my ride plate and trim tabs.
    I already have 40ths and 20ths I'm looking for 10ths.

    I read on here that some have used aluminum siding cut to size, might be an option.

    If you take the digital calipers to the hardware store you can usually find variances withen 10 thou.

    In my case if its needed to get that fine in adjustment I usually just take the flat file to the rideplate mounting surface.

    Thanks for the link. Mcmaster has a lot of cool stuff.

    I just picked up a shim from my Yamaha dealer. $5.20 for 1 shim. I thought this was for a pack of 10, nope only 1.

    Take a soda can or beer can, cut it for shims.
