Coffman SuperJet pipe identification
I just found a thread ( http://www.x-h2o.com/showthread.php?t=34340 ) that lists all SuperJet pipes.
When I got the Coffman pipe for the my SuperJet 650, I didn't know there were different kinds... Could someone take a look at the two attached pics and tell me which type I have?
Coffman - Sizzler Pipe
Great pipe.. hits very well.. light weight, good mounts.. I have had great luck with this pipe all the way to big bores.
Coffman - wet pipe -it is a 3 pcs that looks like a B Pipe.
decent low end, but almost no hit and top end nonexistent. Easy to work on/around.
Coffman - Dry Pipe, similar to the type 4
mild IMO and it clogged a couple of times. HEAVY pipe!!!
I spent some time on this pipe.. never got it working very well at all..But man it looks good !
Coffman "Rocket series" pipe
It was the "Up" style pipe they made for a while with the Granite looking speckled coating on it. Very similar in design to the Riva "Red" pipe and Pro-Tec "Up" pipes. They made decent power but they are kinda heavy like most cast pipes. Would be a good choice for a low budget build if you came across one cheap.
