    Removing exhaust

Soon I will be installing modified throttle bodies on my 08GPR. I want to remove the entire stock airbox. It looks like I will need to remove the pipe & the stinger. This look fairly EZ, about 1/2 hour each. What do you guys think? Any tricks? I have a trip planed for next weekend & I want to minimize my down time & throttle bodies haven't arrived yet. Just trying to plan ahead.

Yes remove the stinger, but I usually loosten the U-pipe and pivot it out of the way too... you will need some extra clearence to get to the bolts on the front of the stock air box, and to remove the front air duct.

I just found out that the throttle bodies will not arrive untill late this week. I will not be able to get them installed & tested before my trip. I will do it next week. I will take some pictures. I'll have to figure out how to post them though. Someone asked me to post a pic. of my face after I smashed it wake jumping, I still need to do that.

Anyone gona be at Table Rock Lake MO this week end?

My throttle bodies just arrived. That was fast, thanks James K. I just noticed that I am going to have to do something with the air temp sensor. When you guys remove the stock airbox what are you doing with the sensor? I was thinking I would just zip-tie it some where safe & out of the way.

    It's done!

It took me about 5 hours to R & R the exhaust & throttle bodies.
I only got one cut on my arm, digging a socket out of the bottom of the hull. Cannot afford to leave anything loose in the hull with no filters on the throttle bodies.
