Product Review: GenX Lexan Lid
Rating 1-10... I'd give it a 7 overall....higher, if the edges weren't discolored.
-Shape is good.
-Irridescent look is cool in sunlight.
-Gen-X is easy to work with. They are willing to try different things!
-Shipping was acceptable.
-Included examples of CF colors.
-Fit is perfect.
-Color is too light for stock side shields. Subjective.
-Edges have discoloration. Looks like pulling epoxy.
-No instructions...pull out one side of pushlocks to fit hood!
-Stuck a company sticker on the hood. It peeled right off.

I'm not positive, but I think the Carbon fiber one is laminated fiberglass or lexan. If you decide to do it, call them first and let us know. He's a nice guy.

I have push-locks like that on my Suburban. They hold the radiator shroud on.
I've asked this before, but does anyone know who manufactures the Riva carbon fiber windscreen? It's high-quality and thick carbon fiber. It's also $150. But, you get what you pay for.

You have to be careful. The stock rubber lock-nuts are a bear!
I use a pair of channel-locks on the rubber/brass nuts, while turning the metric allen head screws. You have to replace them once removed.
