Rotax intercooler w/ ppg pipes any ideas?
So I purchased the Rotax Racing intercooler that has been passed around on this forum for quite a while. Where the mounting bracket usually attaches on the intercooler is missing....it has been cut/broke off.........I was trying to mock it up by myself lastnight and now I am clueless how or where to mount this thing with the the current metal pipes....... does anyone have a picture of the RR intecooler and PPG pipes mounted?.......any of the previous owners install it? .......I need some help fellas

Here's what the Rotax bracket looked like when I had my hands on one.

The tab that is normally at the back of the IC is cut off by PPG. When I was helping them design a bracket system for it (back in the day), they use to cut it off. The current rubber pipes that you can buy for the RRIC were not available at the time...
You are gonna need to build a bracket of some sort, but here is how it mounts...I will post some pics when I get home, I have some old developemental pics...
- The IC itself, labeled which side is which. The straight outlet is for the TB, while the angled outlet is for the SC...
- The longer pipe (labeled which end is which) is for the SC to the IC...
- The smaller pipe passes OVER the larger pipe, and is made for a standard RIVA BOV...I MAY have it backwards labeled in the photo, but it wil lline itself up....
**You might need to get a 45 degree rubber connector, or use something from a scrap rubber pipe...
Hope this helps for now...

Thanks a million Danny...........I gave up after 10 minutes last night the intercooler kept sliding while I was trying to position pipes ,I'm gonna have my roomate help me tonight hold it in place and try to make a bracket. If you can find somewhat of a picture or info on the bracket it will give me a starting point.......Thanks both of you for the pics
