I know this is old but I want to bring it to the top. I have searched and found some threads, but non seem to be what I am looking for for the RXT. Seems skoep and stsperformance have some good setups.
I am changing the location of my boost guage and looking for some ideas. I was thinking to install it in the mirror pod or to the right of the steering column, but would have to cut the hood a little to see it. The RXT mirror pod is different and doesnt seem to be to difficult to do. The way it slides in and gets bolted seems like something can be fabbed up with stock setup and wont have to have any exposed bolts on the face. Is the mirror plastic or glass?

Ok, finally completed mine. Here is what I did. The RXT is a little different.
Thanks BigdaddyRXP for the carbon fiber piece.
Removed the mirror, made stand off spacers to keep the front piece solid to the rear piece. Fit the carbon fiber into where the glass was, cut the hole out, fit the guage in, drilled required hole for tube, and reasembled. Came out really nice.

I know this is an old thread, but it looks badass!
How did you attach the mirror to your custom mounts? Epoxy? Thanks!!!
I'm looking to put a boost gauge in my mirror and just gather some info before I start this project. Thanks again!
