LOL....I tried my braking system yesterday. Here's what I did; Cruising at 40 mph, I let off the throttle, and just engaged the reverse bucket. Whoa....it slowed to a crawl almost instantly. I didn't really want to add any throttle and I didn't want to take the chance of blowing my reverse bucket clean off.

No way... can't wait to see this. I'm not surprised Rip is the one to video it.

I had forgotten that the SHO had that rev limiter when the reverse bucket was thrown out. The mule I rode had the reverse bucket removed because he was testing a bunch of different stuff, and it was just a pita to take it off and on all the time.

It is a lot of fun to go screaming up to the 5mph zones, then just flip the bucket out, and woof....your down to 5mph in about 50 feet. I may have to try giving mine some throttle next time. But, just throwing the bucket out worked so well.

It's because of guys like us that Yamaha put the reverse lever on the same side as the throttle.
