    Gas cap ?

    Hey guys

Do you think the gas cap from a 09 model on side of the hull
can be retrofited on a GTX S/C ?

    Any ideas ?

Yes. The gas tank should the same. BRP hates having different parts. Would need the filler hose from BRP or possibly use a flexible hose and the fuel lid assembly. One of my top complaints with SD's, have to open the front lid to fuel up.

I don't think they will be the same. the suspnsion system would be in the way, but there is no real way to know yet as no one has one yet.

HUH? If you look at the video that was posted I believe you can see the fuel tank. BRP would figure out a way to use the same fuel tank they have been using for several years now rather than redisgn the fuel cell. The suspension is the reason that they relocated the fuel door in the first place. All the flexing would wear out the filler hose.

Ya the cap will work. Most likely, but the hose that will connect the cap to the tank will travel uphill. Then not having a smooth path to the tank. Im sure that the tank on the in 09 is more profiled to the hull. Not saying it wont work but it will be interesting to see it it does

you need to block block the tank vent as the newer skis all run a vented cap for some reason and no tenk breather.

I don't see where having 2 tank vents would be an issue.
