Doug said there was talk of bringing stuff to grill at Crowley`s, so what`s the skuttlebutt with that?...
need to hear if the group wants to chow again, but in a smaller capacity
after or before drag racing...
depending on what time all you posers want to meet up at the launch, it`ll prolly be a good 2-3 hours getting out to the drag lane, race and return, that`s with decent amounts of runs and possibbly going thru the snakes depending on tide situation...
so peeps speak up, time is short!...
oh, and put me down for a "maybe"...

Sept. 21st.. 10am at Crowleys landing. We'll all meet up and head out. It's about 10 very easy miles out to where we thought this might work the best.
Andy and I were out there today checking things out and the stretch is about .6 miles long end to end. This gives us plenty of room to work with to do .25 mile runs.. This also dumps out into about the largest/widest part of the mullica so there is plenty of room for an over run. It is also about 2 miles from fuel.. at chestnut neck.
I have 3 gmrs/frs radio's.. if anyone has any it would be a good idea to bring them.. might also make for some "interesting" conversation...
It's really deep along this are so we won't be able to have holders for starts.. I figure we could do some idling up side by side and launch at the sound of Anthony's horn.
I've got some large laundry detergent jugs and some rope to use as finish bouy's.. For the start there will be no bouy, it will be go when you hear the horn and the horn holder (aka Anthony) will be sitting right about .25 miles from the bouy's..give or take
We'll run with people sitting at each end with radio's and should be easy to control any boat traffic along the area. There shouldn't be much, if any, because this is the entrance to the "snakes"..
Once we're done if anyone has the balls to race through the snakes it's up to them.. It's a VERY fun ride, especially when you ride it hard..
For food, I would recommend that everyone bring something... Stop and grab a sandwich either the night before or that morning on the way in.. I'm pretty sure Anthony will have the leftover charcoal and fluid so the grills will be there too..
This should be a lot of fun guys! Who's in????
