STRT button acting up ??
Hey guys, im postig this for one of our members, he just doesnt have the time to get on everyday.
He has an 03 GPR 1300, and his START button is acting up. Sometimes you press the button and it cranks right up, other times you can hear the clicking at the fuse panel, but it wont turn the engine over. Any suggestions as to where to look.
I dont think the problem is the switch itself, but perhaps the starter, or a relay or something ???

Tell him to clean and tighten his ground connections.

I know sometimes on my seadoo that the connectors on the starter motor would come loose inside the the starter housing. Which would cause the same issue. If it does ot just reach down there and hand tighten it and it should turn over.
