    98 750 xi sport...Is it worth it?

Hey guys, I'm trying to scoop a cheap ski that need work so I can have a winter project. I recently saw a 98 750 for 300 bucks with a trailer. It is in good shape but has a blown motor. I figured it would be worth buying, even if I had to drop a new sbt in it for $750.00. What do you think? Is this a good ski? What is the max speed on a stock one of these? Anything else I should watch out for?
    Thanks

that's about what i got mine for.

750 engine is super easy to work on. parts are easy to get

runs in the low 40's might be able to get it over 50 with a lot of upgrades (not worth it in my opinion)

My wife and daughter ride it
