Hello, I am new to the forum

I just registered for this forum. A friend of mine got me hooked, fast-banshee. I purchased a 98 slxh (30 hours?)about 7 weeks ago and then i followed up by purchasing fast-banshee's 98 slxh with a new top end. I am very pleased with my purchases and i wanted to say hello. The only problem i am having is the same one i have read about others having, my ski's dont like to run on the low end(under 3500 rpm's) but thats ok i dont go slow long haha.

the last one i bought with the new top end my friend cleaned and put new main jets in it, i believe he put 2-138 mains jets and a 142. I was planning on working on the carbs some this winter.

    Thumbs up

    Welcome to Green hulk!
    Your addiction sounds familiar.
When you say it does not like to run below 3500,does it stumble-bogg-or just does not hold 3500 rpm?

P.S. WOT is much more fun

well the ski will idle after its warm but stubbles and dies some to get to 3500 then takes off til 4500 rpm then its wot. It idles for about 1 min i have timed it before it slows down gradually til it dies around 700 rpm. both skis run identical for the most part.
