    Raising the bunks?

    I was wondering if it will be safe to raise the bunks more. Please see photos. I will be on the last bolt hole if i do. My rxp sits way to close ...Thanks

    I don't see why not, if all else fails you can always get longer brackets.

    Personally, I wouldn't. The bolt acts as a fulcrum, and the distance to the end of the angle is very short. The lever arm for the boat would be much longer in comparison. I think it would be very easy to bend the bracket. In fact, I would put 4 bolts in it as it is now.

    looks like that trailer has seen a bit of salt water personally, I would have new brackets made to accommodate the height and new bolts too

    I di live in south florida. cant get enough of the blue clear water im going to check out a local trailer shop to see what they have to offer.
