Has anyone had any Round MFDs rebuilt by anyone on here???

Has anyone had any luck rebuilding or having round MFDs rebuilt??? (93 SLT 750) I know there used to be a guy on here from Houston that rebuilt them but suddenly disappeared w/some peoples MFDs. So I really need someone honest that can do the job. I only have one that needs repair. I have replaced the fuse and done everything else everyone says to do and still no dice. So I think it's time for repair.

    thanks,
    Jared

Not sure of anyone doing a round MFD fix yet. Just the oval ones.

It appears the rounds go for a cheaper price on Ebay, maybe watch for one?

Thanks guys, you are awesome as always

thanks for the advice guys. I think I will try the repair. If anything I will learn something valuable out of the deal.

By the way due to the recent advice you guys gave me my 93 SLT750 runs awesome now. All the fuel lines including the ones in the tank were replaced with quality line. I bought a 3 outlet pump from Zigler. Had the carbs rebuilt. Emptied and cleaned the fuel tank. Cleaned and lubed the fuel selector switch. I also bought a nice Ocean Pro ride plate from a member on here and had it powder coated last week. I cleaned the inside of the hull and now the ski looks like new inside. All I have left to do now is cosmetic work on the outside of the hull. I plan to have the seat recovered. Redo the handlebar pad, and last, paint the hull from the rub trim up. So far I am at less than $400 in this build. Mainly because I had a good motor to start with. I plan to post some pics soon. The double trailer I just rebuilt, welds and all goes to the powder coaters next week or as soon as it gets too cold to ride Today I am also going to look at a mint SLT780 with only 45 hours on it. Hopefully I can buy it and have two nice three seaters. If not I want to rebuild another 93 SLT750 I bought a month ago for a parts ski. Either way Lord willing I will have a nice pair of three seaters by next summer. Also I cannot wait to show you guys my air compressor I just rebuilt. Two stage, Champion, with 5hp motor, stands almost 7 foot tall. Now if I can just get a new blast cabinet and Powder coat setup I will start really detailing out my skis.

So once again guys I really appreciate your wisdom,
    Jared Jones
