    Throttle cable question

Do you guys have slack on the cable or is there some slack, in the engine bay.

Is it supposed to tight or slacked down a-little?

    Thanks!

    Hi Pat,
the cable should be routed in the most relaxed direction to reduce the possiblity of binding or kinking of the cable while keeping the cable from rubbing against anything that would cause wear to the caseing during operation. the manual calls for 0.16-0.28 in. of free play in the cable itself.

pat the slack you see down there is off your oil cable.

I never measure just squeeze the throttle til you feel resistance. That is the butterflys starting to open. now if you have a small gap from no throttle to just before you feel resistance(butterflys opening) then it is ok. Double check to see if you pull the throttle wot the butterflys open all the way.
