    P-x revs

Hey guys, i have posted in the past about my rxp-x with the mods in my sig, which was only revving out to about 7800 rpms.. I went out yesterday on a day with very similar temperatures ( about 72 degrees) and managed to run to 70.2mph @ 8040 consistantly... I was pretty happy with the speed, but hoping for maybe a little bit more.. My question is, why all of a sudden is it revving out harder if the temps are the same?? Do other weather factors play a role on rpms too?? Or did i have another problem?

I also have a stock rxpx with 12 hours on it. I have never seen over 8000. Anybody know why???

I have mostly seen 7800 rpm, but in rare cases it's pushed 8000.

One thing for you guys to keep in the back of your mind is you don't want your X model ski to have more than 8000 RPM's with the stock ECU. Timing drops off drastically over 8000

So i should be pretty happy with 8040?? I remember getting those rpms when the ski was stock, and expected to be on limiter until i could change or repitch my prop..
