    Which Nozzle for Speed?

I have heard different opinions on this but just wanted to hear what others have discovered between the 85 and 87 nozzle? I am running an 87, but have heard that the 85 is faster? Thanks.

this has been covered loads but you gotta do your own tests as all skis are diffrent..
87 is your hole shot nozzle but if your rpm's are low on top with a 85 you can swap out to a 87 to gain some rpm's on top..

normaly the 85 is the correct nozzle for any ho prop 05-08 years and will yeild better top end when used in conjuction with dyna-fly prop..

the 87 was fitted on the 00-04 years non ho pumps but it has been said some of the 04's have 85's on

    you gotta test test test

Smaller nozzle makes it faster. Larger nozzle makes it get there faster.

Either nozzle could put you in the perfect power range for YOUR ski so as Hydrotherapy suggests test test test and then test again.

It pretty muc h depends on how you're propped. If you need more rpm's, go to the 87, if you want more top end and are spinning the prop well go to the 85.

Your right also I noticed that a smaller nozzel (85)mm works well in the winter and in the Miami heat 'my ski' works better with 87mm. Just my 0.2.

Let me also add that I owe WFO a ton of gratitude he really is a great guy and knows his stuff when it comes to gpr's. Thanks for all the help Rich..
