    XS Intercooler on the SHO

ok....this seems like the kit to get....
    http://www.4-tecperformance.com/inde...=&dto=&x=0&y=0

Item Name- Price Fizzle XS Intercooler Kit

Typical gains after installing this intercooler kit are approximately 2 MPH in top speed, 200+ RPMs, and improved acceleration and throttle response....
    $429.95

Brought a laser heat gun and shot temps of my the intake hose exiting the supercharger....186 degrees!!! Intercooler was reading temps of 134-136 degrees, water temp was 90 degrees..........my SHO is inhaling blow-dryer air!!!!

Really want to get the air-intake temps down.......any idea of who I should contact to get this cooler put on my SHO?

I'm very serious about this upgrade....just as WaterWoody has to modify his ski's based on altitude.....So. Fla riders need to modify their skis based on the hot air/water temps.
Ultras and SHO's seem particularly vulnerable to this....

....the ultra because of the Roots charger....

...and the SHO because of its small IC and its small, high heat 75,000 rpm SC impeller, and its almost-watertight/lack-of-ventilation engine compartment.....

the xs is a very nice intercooler, its a good one for me to copy and make my own. i also plan on making a freeflow exhaust, air filter, and intake upgrade. im very cheap and luckily have the means to build alot of the "pricey" items myself, plus i blew my wdk fund on the ski when i bought it.
unfortunatly i dont have the knowledge that (rideplate) jim has otherwise i would do that also, but i dont mind paying the guru for all that he knows and does!
